The event app

SASCON 2027 runs on Eventee. It carries the agenda you will follow inAccra, Ghana on20 to 21 July 2027, and it is kept in step with this website.

What the app is for

How to get it

The app is not open yet. The download links and the SASCON 2027 event link will be published on this page once the event goes live, and they will be sent to registered delegates as well. Nothing is published here before it works.

Ask to be told when registration opens and you will hear about the app at the same time.

You do not need the app

Everything the app shows about the programme is on this site, in plain pages that work without an account, without an install and on a slow connection. Theschedule at a glance lists both days. The detailed programme carries abstracts and rooms. The speakers page carries who is presenting. The app is an addition for delegates who want one, never a condition of attending.

How the app and this site stay in step

Your registration is held in our own database first, and the app follows it. If the app is unavailable on the day you register, your registration still exists, your badge is still valid, and a nightly check reports any delegate the app has not received. The website is the record, the app is the convenience.

What Eventee is told about you

Registered delegates have their name, email address, organisation and job title passed to Eventee so that the app can show a personal schedule and the desk can check you in. Nothing else is passed. Eventee is named in the processor register in theprivacy notice, with the rest of what happens to your data.

Being told when it opens

The email list on the home page is the one announcement channel. It tells you when registration opens, when the programme is published and when the app goes live. You confirm the subscription by email and can leave at any time.
